Filigree inlay is a traditional Chinese handicraft with a history of over 3,000 years, combining the delicate art of filigree with inlay techniques. It has developed into a unique artistic style and exquisite craftsmanship through centuries of transmission. In June 2008, the technique was recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage.
